About Me

I worked for the Correctional Service for 26 years and realized what I loved most about my job was listening to people's stories with empathic curiosity. People often commented that I was skilled at providing guidance with a direct and funny approach so I decided to shift my focus to therapy. Over the years I have been exposed to, and have lived experience, of  many of the issues my current clients face. This includes topics such as conflict, difficulty dealing with their feelings, addiction, and feeling like they have no direction. 

There are many sides to me.  I am a mother, a wife, a sister, an athlete and a crafter. I am energetic and love the outdoors (walking, cycling, playing soccer and gardening) when I get a chance to get out there. I love cuddling with my kids and puppies, fuzzy socks, fire roasted marshmallows and early mornings with a hot cup of coffee (has to be medium to bold) in the perfect mug (red Fiesta dinnerware I received as a birthday gift!)
